Rebecca Martin: A Compassionate Guide on Your Mental Health Journey

The Lite Mind Body team is full of dedicated, compassionate practitioners, and Rebecca is no exception. A current Doctor of Education Candidate at the University of Toronto, Rebecca brings academic depth and heartfelt compassion to her work with clients. Rebecca offers person-centred talk therapy, both virtually and in-person, supporting individuals seeking meaningful change in their lives.

Rebecca’s practice focuses on helping people relieve emotional distress, gain insight into their thoughts and behaviours, and improve their relationships. She emphasises the creation of a safe, supportive space where clients can freely explore their emotions and move towards greater mental well-being. Rebecca’s extensive education helps set her practice apart. She has received a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of St. Andrews and a Master of Science in Counselling Psychology from the University of Strathclyde, allowing her to approach therapy through a global lens.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has worked in a variety of mental health settings, supporting individuals from all walks of life - from students in university to those recovering from motor vehicle accidents. Her thoughtful, person-centred approach empowers clients to manage difficult emotions, strengthen their connections with others, and develop healthier, more fulfilling behaviours.
